Tiss hosts an episode all about Sleep Paralysis and the hallucinations that go with it.
We look at it scientifically, spiritually and logically, and even talk to some people with their very own first hand accounts.
Also, Ghost Story of the Week as usual.

Trailer below
An ex boyfriend of mine once described a similar incident to the ones you talk about in this episode. He told me that one night he woke up out of a dead sleep drenched in sweat and gasping for air as if the wind had been knocked out of him, he couldn’t move any muscle in his body except his eyes. He was laying on his back, and when he opened his eyes he looked and the foot of the bed and saw a demon hovering there just staring at him, he (my ex) was able to utter the name Jesus and he said as soon as he did the demon vanished and he was able to move and breathe better again.
It’s amazing how many people have contacted us with sleep paralysis experiences – It seems to be a far more common phenomena than we expected. Interestingly your experience seems to have a spiritual element as well. Perhaps the visions that victims see are manifestations of their own fears and anxieties – so for a religious person, it could appear as a demon. It would be one explanation as to why most people seem to see the same, or similar, things, as they are stock figures that many would be afraid of – demons, strangers, witches, etc…
Thanks for listening, and sharing your story!
